About my video...

During the last week i have been taking videos of my friends and my self. Know i am ready to start putting the videos we took together on the program: Windows movie maker. he first time we started taking the videos, we found out that our videos were on the cameras memory, which meant we couldnt transform it to the Computer's... So the next lesson we came and quickly took a camera and started taking new videos, When we came back to class we placed the videos on our laptops, and we watched them, and they were actually pretty good and funny.

Today i am going to start putting all my videos onto movie maker, and before i do that my friends and I we go and just take the last videos, and those are the ones were we have to took about ourselves... When we come back we will hopefully start making our movies... This is all i have got to say for today.

DreamWeaver

Dreamweaver wasnt a very impressive programe, i didnt enjoy it as i did while using HTML. I thought that dreamweaver was a complicated programe, It didnt help me as much as i did while using HTML, and that is because the prograe it self wasnt as good as HTML, from using it and making things using it. That is what i think about Dreamweaver.

My own rubric

Today i was working on word documment, working on making my own rubric. I had to write what 1-2,3-4, 5-6 equal to. For example(1-2)= like doesnt have as much information needed etc... It was hard for me because we had to open the real rubrics, and then make something similiar to it. And untilo today i am still making some corrections to my rubric. That is all i hvae to say about what i have one today during I.T class.

My Digital Portfolio

Today i started making my digitalportfolio on (wikispaces.com). I started making my hompge and adding some text and pictures ontothe homepage. I am also going to add (about me "link") on the side, and (my Subjects) also as a link on the side of te hompage...I am still working on it, on everything the homepage and the other pages...

How to use HTML for a digtal portfolio

Toay during class we working on HTML, and it isnt a bad thing to use while making a digital portfolio. We can add images that an also move, and the HTML for that is as the following: this is the HTML for a moving image.http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_images, this is the URL for the moving images page. I think usin HTML is a really useful site because we can o many things or a digitl portfolio while using the HTML, such as adding pictures/images, entering frames etc... these are some examples of why the HTML could be used while making your Digital Portfolio, this is all i have learned abot using HTML today...

What a Digital Portfolio is...

A digital portfolio contains information about the person that made it. For example it has information about someones personal sutff, and someones personality. Digital portfolios also contain some information about a students such as there classes and subejects that they are good at and bad at too.What a digital portfolio is a link in a students blogger or a students site etc...One advantage in having a Digital Portfolio, is that you can enter your Digital Portfolio from anywhere, and another is that you can make one easilly.Some disadvantages is that sometimes you well need to download some programs so that your digital portfolio works, and another disadvantage is that it can be very complicated, and you will have to buy expensive stuff to make it work.

Summayah's Digital Portfolio:-

Summayah has a very simple but nice digital portfolio, it contains a community and service page, a Homepage, about me page etc... These are the basic stuff that a Digial Portfolio contains. But what i really like about summayah's Digital Portfolio is that she had a table of content page. That really interested me in her Digital Portfolio because non of the Digital Portfolios i have commented abot had a Table of Content. A table of Content is just a page which shows everything the student had added to his Digital Portfolio or to what ever he/she has on his/her site or book etc... Everything else was reseonably simple but nice and coontained alot of information. This is what i think of Summayah's Digital Portfolio.

Vincents Blogger site

Vincent's homepage isnt bad t all it contains some pictures of him and a logo of his school, but the only thing missing in his homepage is that he ast designed a heading or anything, he just wrote somethings about himself, but nothing was like moving or glittered etc...To the side of his homepage he has got some hyperlinks that take us to for example:''English'', ''Chemistery'' and ''Drama'', basically he has got all of the classes e takes put into a hyperlink. His hyperlinks are good because he talks about the class hes talking about and has some pictures that describe the class, for example'' Chemistry =(A guy holding some chemicals and mixing them around)'', that picture really does explain the lesson he is talking about. He could have added abit more color into his homepage, because there isnt much color in it, its only white with some writing and two pictures in the middle.I think if Vincent had added just some more color into his backgrounds his website would have been amazing! These are the only comments i have got for Vincent.

Commenting on Qareena's Blog

Qareena hasa aa nice and simple homepage, that contains a picture of her and her classmates(
i think) , she has some headings that indicate that we are welcomed to the site. To the side of the homepage she has somce hyperlinks that are connected to other pages that have for example : ''Boing Boing'' , ''Chris lydon'' etc....What Qareena is missing in her homepage is some hyperlinks to subjects such as english or math. Personally i like the design of Qareena's website, it has some weird styles of writeing in it some pictures wich give the website some color, BUT! she could have added for example some color to the homepage, such as a background. Qareena seems like a very organized and responsible person, for example she has got a correct formation of paragraphing in her ''personal statment''... I think this is all i have got to talk about in Qareena's website.

Vincents Digital Portfolio

Vincents homepage isnt that well, it is kind of empty.He could have added abit more color into it.In his digital portfolio he is mostly talking about classes he takes during school days, he talks about them and what they attempt to do during each class.For some classes he has written about the history of where the class has started, for example the (Bangladish) class...He has talked about himself in other hyperlinks. His digital portfolio could have been designed more, but the amount he wrote in each hyperlink is just fine.

Other Students Portfolio's (Vanilles)

This student talks about lots of things in her portfolio. She has a link to another page that talks about her lessons that she takes in school, she has a link to another page that only talks about her self etc... She also has journals about things she searched for such as (holidays)...Vanille seems like a very smart person beause her profile is filled with hyperlinks,pictures and color.
Her portfolio is very organized, for example she has the homepage designes, and on the sides and the bottom of the homepage she has hyperlinks to other pages that have things about her and some journals etc... It is also organized because she has everything that a digital portfolio needs.

My feelings towards I.T this year, and grade 8

when first started I.T this year i thought it was going to be difficult, because we were working on sites and bookmarking from the first day.I have never bookmarked from before so i had some issues while working on our first site(del.icio.us). After 2-3 lessons of I.T things have gottin better, i started to understand the concept of bookmarking. What i felt was easy from the first day was regestiring in sites and making a login account for that specific site, and that is because i have already made loggin users to other sites from before, so that just made it easy for me... I think i am going to do fine in I.T this year, and i hope we all enjoy our time!


My feelings toward grade8 is possitive, i feel like im hopefully going to do a good job furing this marviolus year. All my teachers are amazing and seem very smart!... Until today things are going very good, i hope i keep this up and so do all my friends.

On tuesday 4th of september my colleugus and i have created a (del.icio.us) account. What this website does is that it help us in bookmarking other websites. Right now i have got 8 posts, and i am looking forward to add some more posts. The del.icio.us account has helped me save websites that i need and websites that are important. Working on this website is our first project to work in I.Tclass. In the current time i am really enjoying working on this wonderful webstie.
